Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms

This!!

They don’t. I’m too busy. I have to leave for my meeting in 30 minutes. Ain’t nobody got time for stories today.

Everyone loves these, seems no one knows how to make them because they’re forever trying to get mine. I’m here to inspire you. That’s my only obligation. Make your own cookies.

These are super easy and super delicious. This recipe makes about 3 dozen so double it if you feel so inclined. I promise they will be eaten.

What You Need:

1/2 c butter

1/2 c peanut butter

1/2 c granulated sugar plus some for rolling

1/2 c brown sugar

1 egg

2 c flour

3/4 tsp baking soda

3/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

36 Hershey KISSES™️ unwrapped of course

What You Do:

Cream together butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg.

Whisk together dry ingredients except the candies.

Blend flour mixture into eggs and butter.

Form dough into a ball and chill 30-60 minutes.

This is when I unwrap the Kisses.

Preheat oven to 375.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Form 1 inch balls out of dough and roll in sugar.

Place on cookie sheets 1.5 inches apart.

Bake 8 minutes.

Immediately press chocolate candy into center of cookie.

Transfer to a cookie rack to complete cooling.

You can use mini peanut butter cups or caramel filled chocolates if you like. Also, I tried it with colored sugars the first batch. They were ok, but looked a little messy.

I hope you’re enjoying all these cookie recipes. Come on back tomorrow to see what I’m baking.

Much Love, Chelle.
